# Supplier pickup by courier.

A shipment may be ready at a manufacturer, dealer or warehouse. The courier needs clear pickup data and confirmed readiness before the trip starts.

## Prepare collection at a third-party site.

### Name the pickup point clearly.

A company name and street may not be enough. Add the goods desk, gate, warehouse area or another clear meeting point. A complete postal address is still required.

### Provide a reference.

Many suppliers use an order number, collection number or customer reference. Add it to the order before pickup. This can make it easier to identify the correct shipment.

### Confirm readiness.

Check that the goods are actually ready before booking. Opening hours and a reachable contact also matter. A courier cannot replace a missing internal release at the supplier.

## Move the goods directly to the destination.

### Keep shipment data complete.

Weight, dimensions, number of pieces and a clear goods description should be known. These details determine which available vehicle class can be checked.

### Add the receiving contact.

The destination also needs clear information. Name, phone number, opening hours and the intended handover point help. A company reference may also be useful at larger sites.

### Do not imply procurement.

The courier trip starts with a confirmed pickup. x25pronto does not automatically buy the goods or provide procurement by using this term. The customer ensures that the supplier releases the correct shipment.
